Psychologist Dr Celia Liu

Dr Celia Liu is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in New Zealand, the United States (California), and Taiwan. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium, a joint doctoral program between Stanford University and Palo Alto University in the US. Throughout her years of training and clinical practice, she has worked in various settings, including hospital, high school, outpatient community mental health setting, integrated behavioral health clinic, and private psychiatric clinic. She is fluent in Mandarin and English and has extensive experience working with individuals with a wide range of clinical presentations such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and severe mental illness. Her treatment modalities focus on utilizing evidence based interventions with primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She moved to New Zealand with her family this year and is currently working full time as a clinical psychologist at a public inpatient psychiatric facility.

Counsellor /Social Worker Tingting Zhu

Training backgrounds in both psychology and social work. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Master’s degree in Health Psychology from the University of Auckland.

About ten years of experience working with people struggling with psychosocial challenges. Special counselling interests include anxiety disorder, depression, sleeping problems, emotional regulation, interpersonal communication, personal development, academic stress (especially for postgraduates), and LGBT-specific challenges.

The core of my practice is to empower you to make the most of your life. I apply a person-centered approach and draw evidence-based practices from psychological science. Either through CBT, ACT or other therapies, I invite you to use these psychological tools to navigate your challenges and pursue a meaningful life.

Individuals dealing with everyday stress, relationship issues, mild to moderate anxiety or depression, grief, or self-awareness challenges. Counsellors are also helpful for those seeking support during life transitions or managing personal issues.

Purpose: To provide talk therapy and support for emotional and psychological challenges, helping individuals develop coping strategies and improve their overall well-being.
